چکیده

Background Early detection of loss asthma control can effectively reduce the burden disease. However, broad implementation in clinical practice has not been accomplished so far. We are need research investigating operationalization eHealth pediatric care practice, which provide most potential benefits terms adoption, efficiency, and effectiveness. Objective The aim this study was to investigate technical feasibility, including an exploration efficacy cost-efficiency, program implemented daily practice. Methods designed eHealth-supported facilitating early while increasing symptom awareness self-management. In 6-month program, monitored by 4 health professionals (HCPs) using objective home measurements web-based Puffer app allow timely medical anticipation prevent treatment delay. Technical feasibility assessed technology use, system usability, acceptance. Clinical participation patient-reported outcomes via a focus group with HCPs regarding their experiences implementing cost-efficiency were explored comparing pretest-posttest differences (asthma control, lung function, therapy adherence) consumption. Results Of 41 children, 35 children moderate-to-severe volunteered for participation. With regard scored good usability score 78 on System Usability Scale 70 acceptance scale 1 100. Approximately 75% (18/24) indicated that helped them during program. real time communication enabled make safe substantiated decisions manifestations. average commitment 15 minutes patients, led 80% gross reduction (from €71,784 €14,018, US $1=€0.85) utilization, 8.6% increase 18.6 20.2, P=.40) 25.0% 2.8 3.5, P=.04) self-management level, 20.4% improved 71.2 76.8, P=.02) adherence. Conclusions seems be technically clinically feasible, enables remote care, beneficial utilization. Follow-up should targeted effectiveness studies lessons learned, also enabling individualization personalized care.
